June 20, 2022 Severe Storms
Grand Rapids, MN
This wasn't so much a chase where I intercepted storms as it was a drive home when storms intercepted me. I drove north from the Twin Cities to Grand Rapids, and the storms, which I first saw off to my west, kept pace with me as I drove north. I eventually realized that I would not beat them home, and they overtook me. I also lost power at my house, and since I arrived in town with a low state of charge on my car, I needed to stop at the local charger and replenish the battery when I arrived in town.
