Easter Oklahoma

February 24, 2001

I awoke (at home) to an approaching squall line. With a very dynamic system moving through, there was some tornado potential later in the day. Since it was a Saturday, I decided it was worth following this squall line into eastern Okahoma for a while, and if it didn't show tornadic potential by then, at least I'd have some pretty decent shelf cloud shots.

Well, the storm eventually turned tornadic, but not until it reached the middle of Arkansas, so I turned around, an hour or two after grabbing this shelf cloud video.
