April 20, 2022 Storms
Eastern Oklahoma
This was the day before the tour started, but there was a risk of severe storms in Oklahoma, east of Oklahoma City. We assembled what tour guests were present the afternoon before the tour and headed east on I-40. Towering cumulus formed, and soon there were some showers around, but the lift was too weak, and we never had fully developed thunderstorms, although maybe we heard a rumble of thunder or two.
