Texas

It was a day in-between systems, so we drove west to the high plains for the next system to provide thunderstorms.  On our way to Amarillo, we ate at Jason's Deli in Wichita Falls and also stopped at Caprock Canyon State Park.  We ate dinner at the Big Texan Steakhouse, where we encountered the Lone Star Santas group.

EV driving: starting on a full charge, I could have made the trip rather easily with a stop at the Childress Supercharger, which we passed on the way (well, looking more closely, a charge in Wichita Falls or Vernon would also be needed).
