Wichita Falls, Texas Bust

April 14, 2001

This was another moderate risk day with a threat of significant tornadoes in southwestern Oklahoma and western North Texas. Instead of our target area near Wichita Falls, the tornadoes developed in Kansas ahead of a dryline surge. Storms developed in our target area, but they soon died.
