Storm Location
We targeted the Oklahoma and Texas panhandles for chasing dryline storms today. There was some slightly better risk of storms farther north, but this was the last chase day of Tour 1, and we couldn't realistically chase that far away. We ended up busting on the chase because no late afternoon storms developed in the target area within reach of Oklahoma City. Due to the much greater risk for tornadoes the following day, we asked the guests if they could stay with the tour another day. Not everybody could, so I took some of the guests back to Oklahoma City so they could fly back home, and Bill took everyone else in his van and drove into Kansas for the next day's chase.
