June 2, 2025 Auroras

Minnesota

A strong CME had hit Earth the day before, and conditions still appeared to favor auroras, but the smoke still obscured the skies. Once again, I drove north of town to take a couple pictures. I stopped at Pughole Lake to snap a few picures, but the contrast was so low in the smoke that it wasn't worthwhile. After snapping several photos, I packed up and went back home.
