March 3, 2021 Auroras
Wabana Lake (Chippewa National Forest)
THe high speed stream of solar wind continued, and Bz dropped far enough south that the auroras fired up again.
My first shot looking through the point. |
A multi-banded auroral arc appears. |
The arc quickly breaks up into waving auroras. |
This is the text that appears underneath the table. |
The auroral arc quickly reestablished itself, but there were clouds on the horizon, advancing southward . |
To the east, the moon was also rising. |
The clouds part to reveal a rapidly brightening arc and the beginning of a substorm. |
The auroras moved around actively while the clouds were broken up. |
This is the maximum clearing before the clouds began moving in again. |
