March 15, 2016 Auroras
Grand Rapids, MN
Corotating interaction region ahead of a coronal hole high speed stream. That's what's responsible for the vast majority of our auroras due to the weak sunspot cycle. Luckily, we had clear skies, but that would not last long. A strong and very wet storm system was approaching, and the cloud deck was nearly upon us. I got what I could before the clouds rolled in and ended the view.
