Some Negative Bz

Some southward Bz got me to head out. The moon phase was not very favorable, but I did have an opportunity between civil twilight and moonrise to take a few pictures.

I also had another new lens to try out! This time, I purchased Canon's 14mm f1.4 VCM lens, and I must say I was quite impressed! At wide-open aperture, the stars were pretty sharp right to the corners of the images, and the barrel distortion was less than what it was with the 24mm f1.4. I'm not sure why that was. My guess would have been more distortion on the 14mm than with the 24mm.
